Darren Sinclair
Senior Vice President, National Branch Network
Darren Sinclair joined Western in November 2013 as the branch manager of a small Saskatchewan branch and has since progressed through multiple leadership roles, becoming the Senior Vice President of the National Branch Network in 2025.
Darren’s Western journey has taken his family across three provinces and now to British Columbia, where he is currently based. He began his insurance career in 1998 in Medicine Hat, Alberta, after several years spent teaching both in Saskatchewan and overseas.
Before joining Western, he built a large book of business as a financial advisor. He also spent seven years in Japan in education and sales leadership serving as an area manager for a large corporation.
Darren holds degrees in Education and Political Science. He is married with two daughters—one of whom has proudly followed in his footsteps as an insurance advisor.
