I started in the insurance industry in 1998 and have been with Western Financial Group since 2009.
I was born & raised on a grain & cattle farm in Manitoba. A single mother of two and a grandmother to two beautiful granddaughters, all of whom I am very proud of.
In 1989 I attended Red Deer College and obtained my Business Administration Diploma. After several years as a Bookkeeper, I had an opportunity for a job in Insurance, which lead me to where I am today. Most of my career has been spent in the Farm & Commercial areas of insurance but I still also enjoy serving my Personal lines clients.
I have lived in different areas of central Alberta for many years and have currently called Bashaw home for the past 20 of those. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, as well as traveling.

I have been a resident of Bashaw for more than 25 years and am very passionate about my community. I have two children, Jared 21 and Kayla 15 along with two step children, Liam 12 and Landon 9. There is nothing in this world more important to me that my children and believe me, each of them know how to work this angle to get what they want.
I grew up in the Village of Donalda and could never imagine being too far away from home. I obtained my Legal Assistant Diploma through Red Deer College and was employed in various Law Offices for over 20 years. Wanting to be more involved in my community and home more with my children brought on a change of career. I have been employed with Western Financial Group since March 2018 as a Registry Agent. One constant has never changed, I have always valued working with and assisting the public.
I volunteer countless hours of my time to various organizations. Noteworthy are my years as Chair of the Board of Bashaw & District Support Services and as Team Manager of Stettler Panthers with Stettler Minor Football during the 2022/23 year.

I’ve been blessed to call Bashaw home for 13 years, taking great pride in the immense talent and energy our little town seems to enjoy. I’ve enjoyed becoming and active member of our community, along with my wife and our daughters, becoming involved in community theatre, youth sports as a coach, the Bashaw United Church, and a number of other volunteer organizations.
Throughout my career, customer care and being of service has always been a top priority. I’m always looking forward to meeting clients, both existing and new, while working to find the best products to meet their unique needs.

I have spent most of my professional life working in Customer Service. I have worked many differing jobs from being a gas station attendant to being a regional manager for a payday loan company. One thing I have learned about myself is that I love to resolve disputes and turn an upset client into a lifelong customer.
Outside of work I am a single father of 3 boys. I have lived in Bashaw for 15 years after being born and raised in Sherwood Park. I have a BA in Psychology and have gone back to school for several other diplomas and degrees. I love learning. For my down time (when my boys let me) I love to read and play/listen to music. I consider myself somewhat of a computer geek and love playing many different games. I also LOVE building excel spreadsheets, so if you ever need one don’t hesitate to ask.

I have spent the last 12 years working in the grocery business as administration and sales. I have always worked in customer service and really enjoy helping people and building strong rapports with them.
I’m a mom of 2 girls, 16 and 9 and nana to one sweet grandson. Life is busy and my husband and I have learned to just roll with all of the twists and turns life throws our way. I enjoy spending time with my family and love gardening.
