Be part of something bigger this spring with the National Walk for Safe Places. This nationwide community walk brings people together across the country, with 12 flagship walk locations leading the 25th anniversary celebration of the Communities Foundation.

Since 2001, the Communities Foundation has supported local initiatives that build safer, stronger communities. Now in its third decade, the National Walk for Safe Places welcomes more than 2,000 Canadians each year across more than 150 communities, uniting participants in a 5 km walk that raises awareness for safe places to live across Canada.

Our Flagship Walk Hubs are the heart of the National Walk, bringing people together for shared experiences, local stories, and community connection.

Celebrate with us at one of our Official Hubs on Thursday May 14, or walk with us in one of our 150+ locations between May 11-15.
