This spring, join thousands of Canadians from coast to coast as we honour a major 25-year milestone of the Communities Foundation, empowering local communities across Canada.

Since the Foundation’s establishment in 2001, we have supported community-driven initiatives, including the annual National Walk, rebranded as the National Walk for Safe Places last year, which continues to bring together over 2,000 participants each year across more than 150 communities. These efforts have collectively contributed over $1 million to essential projects that strengthen neighbourhoods and enrich the lives of Canadians.

Here’s How to Join the National Walk Celebrations

Join us and celebrate with our teams at one of our Official Celebration Hubs on Thursday, May 14 or join the movement by walking in any of our 150+ community locations between May 11–15. Each Celebration Hub will feature fun, community-focused activities designed to honour 25 years of local impact.
