We consider it our responsibility to make a positive impact in the communities we serve.
Infrastructure Grants
Qualifying projects are upgrading, enhancing, renovating, or constructing a community’s publicly owned asset that will benefit the community’s future through sustainability, accessibility, health, safety and security. Contact your local Western branch to find out how to submit a nomination.
STC Local Fundraising Program
Running from January to September, our local community teams will select a charity to support for the year through fundraising efforts. 100% of funds raised will go to their approved charity. Charities selected by teams must fall under one of our giving pillars and guidelines.
Western Inspirational Bursary Awards
Recipients of this bursary award have overcome adversity and/or hardships such as mental health, physical disability, bullying/harassment, discrimination, financial hardship, family issues, etc. while still showing kindness, determination and courage to be able to graduate high school and look towards their post-secondary learning.
Our Communities Foundation is proud to have Western team members at the front line of our community givebacks. Western team members submit all applications in support of the community projects they care about.
