Celebrating Black History Month - What Does Black Joy Mean To You?

Western Black History Month 2025

Black History Month is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of Black communities in Canada, listen to their stories, and learn more about their history and cultures.

At Western Financial Group, in alignment with our 2025 DEI theme: “Achieving our Shared Vision: Embracing Belonging, Championing Equity, Evolving Together” and to celebrate Black History Month, two members from the Black Employees Network and Allies (BENA) Employee Resource Group share their thoughts on the evolving concept of Black Joy and how they embrace belonging within their communities.
