Charity Golf International Supports Western Communities Foundation
Last week at our High River head office, we had the pleasure of welcoming Trigg Slonski from Charity Golf International for a special moment of giving! As part of their Pros to Non-profits initiative, they chose the Western Financial Group Communities Foundation as the charity recipient, helping us build Safe Places and stronger communities across Canada.

Trigg and his team at Charity Golf International have been incredible partners of the Communities Foundation’s annual Western Charity Golf Classic, bringing pro golfers to help us fundraise for causes that matter. We’re grateful for their continued support and for turning every swing into meaningful impact.
About the Western Charity Golf Classic
The Western Charity Golf Classic is an annual fundraising event that has been running for over 20 years, gathering donors, partners, and sponsors for a day of golf in support of the Western Communities Foundation. The 2025 event was held on Thursday, June 12 at Cottonwood Golf & Country Club in Foothills, Alberta. We raise funds to support over 200 local causes through the Foundation’s annual giving programs, which have shared more than $9 million to our Western communities since 2001.
