Western Financial Group’s Fernie team has been named the 2026 People’s Choice Award winner at the Fernie Business Excellence Awards, an honour that reflects the trust, relationships and local connections the team has built with Fernie residents.

Hosted by the Fernie Chamber of Commerce, the sold-out celebration took place on October 15 at Cirque Restaurant and recognized businesses, organizations and individuals making a difference in the local economy and community. Awards were presented across 12 categories, with Western Financial Group receiving the People’s Choice Award.
