Your MyWestern account keeps your e-Pink Slips up-to-date even if you make adjustments to your policy. You can also lock your smartphone to prevent other drivers or police from accessing additional apps or personal information while viewing your digital pink slip.

How to download your e-Pink Slip

Login to MyWestern

Visit MyWestern and login using the email address that you have on file with us.

Select "My Documents"

All of your valid e-Pink Slips and policy overviews will be displayed in this screen.

Click Add to Wallet

A copy of your e-Pink Slip will be saved directly to the digital wallet on your smartphone.

1. Can I use my e-Pink Slip instead of the paper version?

Yes, your e-Pink Slip is valid in?Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Labrador. Make sure you always carry the paper copy when travelling outside the province.

 

2. How can I make sure that my e-Pink Slip is up to date even when I'm offline?

When you renew or make changes to?your policy, the changes will appear in MyWestern on the following business day.

 

3. Can I use my e-Pink Slip outside of my province?

e-Pink Slips are valid in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Labrador. Make sure you always carry a paper copy of your proof of insurance when travelling outside the province.

 

4. Can I print a copy of my e-Pink Slip?

If you need to print your e-Pink Slip you can download a PDF version from MyWestern. Print it in colour on white paper to make sure all the information is clear and legible. We recommend that you always keep a paper copy of your proof of insurance in your vehicle when travelling outside the province or to share it with other drivers and law enforcement.

5. What should I do if a police officer does not accept my digital proof of insurance?

e-Pink Slips are valid in Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador. If necessary, a police officer can confirm your coverage by calling 1-866-245-2779 or you can present a paper copy.

We recommend that you always keep a paper copy of your proof of insurance in your vehicle when travelling outside the province or to share with other drivers and law enforcement.

 

6. What happens if my phone malfunctions or its battery dies?

It's the driver's responsibility to have valid proof of insurance at all times. Be prepared for the unexpected by keeping a paper copy in your vehicle.
