The company operates in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba and offers insurance products for home, farm, auto and business through a network of independent brokers. SMI’s roots date back to 1908 when farmers across Saskatchewan formed the Saskatoon Mutual Fire Insurance Company.
The company assists communities in which it serves through the new Broker Donation Fund (after the long-standing Centennial Charitable Donation Program concluded).
