Supporting Inclusion and Opportunity in Camrose: Western Donates $5,000 to CAFCL's Charity Auction

At Western Financial Group, giving back to the communities we serve is a cornerstone of who we are. Through our Western Communities Foundation, we proudly support organizations that foster inclusion, dignity, and opportunity for all Canadians.
We’re honoured to contribute $5,000 to the Camrose Association for Community Living’s (CAFCL) “Once Upon a Bid” charity auction, helping raise vital funds to support individuals with disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and families facing barriers to healthy development.
CAFCL has been a pillar of support in Camrose and East Central Alberta since 1962. Their mission is rooted in the belief that every person deserves to be an accepted and participating member of their community. Today, CAFCL serves over 580 children, youth, adults, and families through a wide range of programs — including residential and outreach services, employment support, family development, and inclusive community initiatives.
The “Once Upon a Bid” auction is one of CAFCL’s key fundraising events, bringing together local businesses, donors, and community members to support their essential services. Funds raised help ensure continued access to programs that empower individuals and promote independence, inclusion, and well-being.
