WESTERN FINANCIAL GROUP ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION
OF LEADING ESTEVAN BROKERAGE
High River, Alberta – October 7, 2011 – Western Financial Group announced today that it has acquired Border Bannatyne Insurance in Estevan, Sask.
The Estevan brokerage, which has been serving the community since 1920, will now operate as a Western Financial Group office with the same trusted local staff that care.
“This is another great addition to our Network of offices,” said Lana Wood, President of Western Financial Group (Network) Inc. “Having an office in the City of Estevan, a population of over 10,000, will give us the opportunity to expand our customer base in southern Saskatchewan and also allows us to broaden our commercial insurance portfolio as Estevan boasts some of the province’s leading oil, mining and power generation industries,” said Wood.
Joining Western Financial Group means the office will be representing more insurance companies, assuring their ability to offer the widest selection of coverage available at a price that gives value to their customers.
