Western Financial Group's Catastrophe Claims Centre in High River to Open Thursday
High River, (AB), - With the mandatory evacuation order lifted for certain areas of High River, Western Financial Group (Western) will open a catastrophe claims centre at its head office in High River on Thursday, July 4 to help assist customers who have been impacted by the flood. The claims catastrophe centre is located at 1010 – 24th Street S.E. in High River.
Western’s catastrophe claims centre in High River will be open daily to customers from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. As an alternative to visiting the claims centre, customers can call (403) 652-2224 and speak with an experienced Western Financial Group representative who will be able to answer their questions and assist them during this time.

With several road closures still in effect throughout High River, customers can visit Western’s catastrophe claims centre via the following routes:
From the north: Take Highway 2 south until you reach the Highway 23 exit (Exit 194B). Head west on Highway 23 until you see a temporary gravel road located near Ward Tires. Turn right on the temporary road which will merge into 20th Street S.E. Turn right onto 10th Avenue S.E. which merges into 24th Street S.E. Continue on until you reach 1010 – 24th Street S.E.
From the south: Take Highway 2 north until you reach the Highway 23 exit (Exit 194A). Head west on Highway 2 until you see a temporary gravel road located near Ward Tires. Turn right on the temporary road which will merge into 20th Street S.E. Turn right onto 10th Avenue S.E. which merges into 24th Street S.E. Continue on until you reach 1010 – 24th Street S.E.
Residents with an emergency claim after regular business hours can call Western’s 24/7 claims line at 1 (877) 599-7299.
With the opening of Western’s catastrophe claims center at its head office, staff from the organization’s temporary claims centre in Okotoks (207, 200 Southridge Drive) will be redeployed in High River.
