Pride Month is More than Rainbows: Celebrating Differences, Ensuring Equality

We had a blast celebrating at the Winnipeg Pride Parade this past weekend! Our ERG representatives and teammates marched with so much energy, and a big shoutout to Director Mike Chapnick for bringing his truck to the party! The atmosphere was electric, and we're so proud to be a part of a company that champions Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Here's to another year of celebrating love and acceptance!

We know that mentioning Pride month with some pretty rainbows once a year just doesn’t cut it. Don’t get us wrong, we love a good rainbow as much as anyone, but our dedication to welcoming diversity in our workplace and supporting our LGBTQ2+ staff, partners and colleagues needs to be embedded in what we do throughout the whole year, not just in June.

Our Pride Employee Resource Group (ERG) plays a vital role. Their focus includes educating employees about the importance of Pride and its significance. We’ve invited expert guest speakers to share their knowledge and to create safe spaces to ask questions and share insights. These sessions empower everyone in our organization to learn, grow, and contribute to a more inclusive workplace.
