Western Financial Group Announces Acquisition of Leading Winnipeg, Terrace and Berwyn Brokerages

High River, Alberta – June 2, 2011 (TSX: WES) – Western Financial Group announced today that it has acquired the following insurance agencies to date in 2011 - Keenleyside Insurance Services in Terrace, BC, Berwyn Insurance, in Berwyn, AB, and Bell & Cross Insurance Agency Ltd. in Winnipeg, MB.
The Winnipeg and Terrace agencies will be operated as Western Financial offices in these communities whereas the Berwyn business was transferred to Western’s office in nearby Grimshaw.
Joining Western Financial Group means the offices will be representing more insurance companies than ever before, assuring their ability to offer the widest selection of coverage available at a price that gives value to their customers.
