Western Hosts Community Event in Strathmore, Alberta
Our Strathmore, Alberta, branch brought the fun today with a fantastic community event! Hot dogs, chips, and drinks were served for a $5 donation to our Western Financial Group Communities Foundation, and many customers and members of our leadership team came out to enjoy the day. There was a cotton candy station, a pony visit, classic cars on display. We were especially honoured to welcome members of the Siksika Nation for a meaningful talk and traditional dance that made the day even more special. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped create such a memorable event!

We’ve also provided grants to upgrade community spaces—like helping replace floors in the local centre—and award two bursaries each year to outstanding local grads.
