Western's second annual holiday toy drive bigger than ever
A year after donating a mountain of toys to the Alberta Children’s Hospital, our Western Financial Group teams in southern Alberta are overjoyed to collect items for kids in our second annual holiday toy drive.
Yup, we’ve expanded the collection communities, this time growing to include our Strathmore, Drumheller, Langdon, Olds and Cochrane brokers to a list of teams already involved — Claresholm, Lethbridge, Nanton, Vulcan, Okotoks and Turner Valley.
Everything is done to give the gift of hope to kids in care at the Alberta Children’s Hospital.
Simply drop off a new unwrapped toy during business hours at one of the participating offices between November 15 and December 7. After a tremendously successful year one, we’re at it again.
We’re inviting our customers, employees and community members to join us in our spirit of giving.
The doctors and nurses at the Alberta Children’s Hospital provide world-class care to 102,000 kids from across southern Alberta each year. we know friends and family who have needed these services.
This is why we help. Our gratitude to the medical teams who save lives every day is immense.
Toys must be safe and built with non-toxic materials. Sharp edges or small pieces — toddler’s toys — will not be permitted. Donated toys must be easy to disinfect and non-aggressive in nature.
