I've used this location for my home and car insurance needs for several years now and it's always been a good experience. Today I had Mridul Dobhal to renew my car insurance. I had limited time prior to a meeting. He was efficient and professional and completed it with time to spare.

Super happy with my service at this location today. The agent was friendly and kind. I had gone to another location and the agent had no idea how to help me so I left. The Helmcken agent, regrettably I didn't get his name, knew how to help me quick and painlessly. I hope he gets some accolades, I was cancelling the insurance on my sister's vehicle, who had passed 3 months ago. The vehicle was in my name, but the other agent was wanting a death certificate and will again eventhough ICBC has already been given the documentation. Definitely recommend this location.

It’s mandatory for all drivers to purchase car insurance from ICBC to help ensure that they are protected with a basic level of coverage.
Basic autoplan insurance for ICBC includes $200,000 in third-party liability coverage. Third-party liability helps protect you in cases such as non-vehicle property damage or driving out of province, and it can protect you in situations where the law permits the other driver to sue.
If you make a third-party liability claim against the person who's responsible for a car crash and they don't have enough insurance to pay for your claim, Underinsured Motorist Protection (UMP) covers you. Basic underinsured motorist protection covers you and members of your household for claims of up to $1 million per insured person.
If you want to increase the amount of coverage you have in the event, you're responsible for a crash, you may want to consider extended third-party liability coverage, an optional Autoplan coverage.
Home insurance isn't mandatory in British Columbia, but most banks or mortgage lenders will require you to purchase home insurance coverage if you have mortgage.
Home insurance helps you protect against: Theft, Fire, Third- party “slip and fall” accidents, Vandalism.
You may want to consider adding earthquake coverage to your home insurance policy to protect you should your home suffer catastrophic damage in an earthquake. Every earthquake insurance policy is different, but typically includes three types of earthquake coverage.
When you get BC boat insurance, it protects your boat and its motor, boating equipment, and boating accessories like lifejackets, GPS, depth sounders, and many other items.
Without marine insurance in British Columbia, you will be responsible for paying out of pocket for any lawsuits or legal fees, damages to another person’s boat, and uninsured medical costs. While boat insurance isn’t legally required in B.C., can you afford to be without it?
Your lender may require that your B.C. boat has insurance and many marinas require liability insurance for mooring and docking.
It’s recommended that you have $3 million or more in boat liability insurance coverage as part of your marine insurance policy to protect yourself as a B.C. boat owner. It helps cover such things as legal fees and uninsured medical bills, which can be expensive without boat insurance.
Liability insurance helps financially protect you if you are responsible for causing injury or death to others or damaging someone else’s property while operating your B.C. boat. It’s designed to protect you against lawsuits related to incidents for which you are legally responsible when operating your boat. $3 million is the recommended amount of liability insurance.
All-risk marine insurance provides broad protection for your B.C. boat by covering any loss or damage unless it’s specifically excluded your boat insurance policy. This makes it the most comprehensive type of coverage available for recreational boats.
Hull and machinery insurance protects against physical damage to your B.C. boat, including collision with other boats or objects, and may also cover equipment attached to the boat.
